1995 Women's Outdoor Track and Field
Season Summary

The Monmouth College women's track and field team finished third overall at the MWC meet held at Coe College.  Seven different women recorded individual first-place efforts.  Stacy Brown remained undefeated outdoors in the 100-meter dash and Christine Stanton won the 400 meters.  Freshman Tennille McClure established a new college record in the discus (127'3"), and distance runners Carrie Knauer (3000 m) and Kathleen Yarger (10,000 m) both broke freshman team records in their events.  Senior Jessica Mills set a personal-best time of 5:08 in winning the 1500 meters.  Junior Dori Ternig ran strong races in placing second in both the 200 and 400 dashes.
The Scots claimed All-American honors at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track Nationals held at Carleton College.  The quartet of Christine Stanton, Christy Hickey, Stacy Brown, and Dori Ternig finished sixth in the 4x100 relay.  This quad was the first Monmouth College women's relay to reach nationals and, obviously the first to claim All-American recognition with the top 8 finish.
