Trio earn Academic All-Conference selection
March
20, 2009
Seniors Kyle Cook (top), an
accounting/business major, and Kyle Weyeneth
(middle), a mathematics major, and sophomore exploratory major Alex
Tanney (bottom) were among 24 Monmouth College student-athletes to
earn academic all-conference honors.
This
is Cook's second academic all-conference award. He
earned his first selection to the team as a junior. The honor is the
first for Weyeneth and Tanney.
In order to be named
to the MWC’s All-Academic team, a student-athlete must have
completed at least one year at the institution, carry a cumulative
GPA of 3.2 and earn a varsity letter in that sport.
