• Take the I-90 WEST ramp toward ROCKFORD.
• Then take the I-39 SOUTH/US-51 SOUTH exit toward BLOOMINGTON-NORMAL. Drive approximately 20 miles on this road.
• Take the I-88 WEST TOLL WAY exit. You will travel on this interstate for approximately 80 miles.
• Take the I-80 EAST exit.  Drive on I-80 EAST for about 6 miles and stay straight to go onto I-74 EAST toward PEORIA.  Continue on I-74 EAST for about 30 miles.
• Take the US-34 WEST (Monmouth) exit.  After traveling on this road for approximately 15 miles you will approach a MONMOUTH COLLEGE street sign.
• At the first stoplight intersection (baseball-soccer complex on the left), turn left onto 11th STREET.
• Travel on 11th STREET 1/2 mile to EAST EUCLID.
• Turn right onto EUCLID and go 2 blocks west to NORTH 9th STREET.
• Turn left onto 9th STREET and travel south to the stop sign at BROADWAY.
• Turn right on BROADWAY and continue for 2 blocks.

• Take the I-55 SOUTH ramp and drive about 20 miles on I-55 SOUTH.
• Then take the I-80 WEST exit.  Drive approximately 115 miles on this interstate and take the I-74 EAST exit toward PEORIA.
• Continue on I-74 EAST for about 30 miles.
• Take the US-34 WEST (Monmouth) exit.  After traveling on this road for approximately 15 miles you will approach a MONMOUTH COLLEGE street sign.
• At the first stoplight intersection (baseball-soccer complex on the left), turn left onto 11th STREET.
• Travel on 11th STREET 1/2 mile to EAST EUCLID.
• Turn right onto EUCLID and go 2 blocks west to NORTH 9th STREET.
• Turn left onto 9th STREET and travel south to the stop sign at BROADWAY.
• Turn right on BROADWAY and continue for 2 blocks.

• Take the I-94 WEST exit.  Drive approximately 5 miles on I-94 WEST.
• Then take the I-894/US-45 SOUTH exit.
• Drive approximately 4 miles on I-894.
• Then take the I-43/US-45 SOUTH exit.
• Drive about 60 miles on this interstate.
• At BELOIT take the I-90 EAST exit. Drive approximately 20 miles on I-90 EAST.
• Then take the I-39 SOUTH/US-51 SOUTH exit toward BLOOMINGTON-NORMAL. Drive approximately 20 miles on I-39 SOUTH.
• Take the I-88 WEST TOLL WAY exit.  Drive approximately 80 miles on I-88 WEST.
• Then take the I-80 EAST exit.  Drive approximately 6 miles on I-80 and continue straight to go onto I 74-EAST toward PEORIA.
• Drive approximately 30 miles on I-74 EAST.
• Take the US-34 WEST (Monmouth) exit.  After traveling on this road for approximately 15 miles you will approach a MONMOUTH COLLEGE street sign.

• Take US-41 SOUTH about 23 miles.
• Then take the WI-26/CR-North/WAUPUN ROAD exit and keep RIGHT at the fork in the ramp.
• You will merge quickly onto STATE ROUTE 26 and take it approximately 25 miles to US-151 (just north of WAUPUN).
• Continue on 151-SOUTH toward Beaver Dam and Madison. 
• Travel approximately 50 miles on 151-SOUTH and take the I-90 EAST/I-94 EAST ramp (at the edge of Madison) toward JANESVILLE.
• After approximately 50 miles on I-90 EAST, it will become I-90 TOLL EAST.
• Take the I-90 TOLL EAST about 17 miles and exit at I-39 SOUTH/US-51 SOUTH (at Rockford) heading toward BLOOMINGTON-NORMAL.
• Drive approximately 20 miles on I-39 SOUTH.
• Take the I-88 WEST TOLL WAY exit (at Rochelle).
• Drive approximately 80 miles on I-88 WEST.
• Then take the I-80 EAST exit.  Drive approximately 6 miles on I-80 and continue straight to go onto I 74-EAST toward PEORIA.
• Drive approximately 30 miles on I-74 EAST.
• Take the US-34 WEST (Monmouth) exit.
• After traveling on this road for approximately 15 miles you will approach a MONMOUTH COLLEGE street sign.

• Turn onto STATE ROUTE 84 SOUTH and follow Route 84 until it connects with INTERSTATE 80 near MOLINE.
• Take INTERSTATE 80 EAST to 74 EAST toward PEORIA.  
• Drive approximately 30 miles on I-74 EAST.
• Take the US-34 WEST (Monmouth) exit.
• After traveling on this road for approximately 15 miles you will approach a MONMOUTH COLLEGE street sign.
• At the first stoplight intersection (baseball-soccer complex on the left), turn left onto 11th STREET.
• Travel on 11th STREET 1/2 mile to EAST EUCLID.

• Drive on I-74 WEST for about 1-1/2 miles.
• Take the I-474 WEST exit.  Drive approximately 12 miles on I-474 WEST.
• Take the I-74 WEST exit on the left toward MOLINE-ROCK ISLAND.  Drive on this interstate for about 40 miles.
• Then take the US-34 WEST (Monmouth) exit at Galesburg.
• After driving approximately 15 miles on US-34 WEST you will approach a Monmouth College street sign.
• At the first stoplight intersection (baseball-soccer complex on the left), turn left onto 11th STREET.
• Travel on 11th STREET 1/2 mile to EAST EUCLID.
• Turn right onto EUCLID and go 2 blocks west to NORTH 9th STREET.

• Take I-74 WEST toward PEORIA.
• Drive approximately 170 miles, just outside of Peoria, take the I-474 WEST ramp toward Peoria.
• Drive about 12 miles on I-474 WEST.
• Take the I-74 WEST exit on the left toward MOLINE-ROCK ISLAND.  Drive on this interstate for about 40 miles.
• Then take the US-34 WEST (Monmouth) exit at Galesburg.  After driving approximately 15 miles on US-34 WEST you will approach a Monmouth College street sign.
• At the first stoplight intersection (baseball-soccer complex on the left), turn left onto 11th STREET.
• Travel on 11th STREET 1/2 mile to EAST EUCLID.
• Turn right onto EUCLID and go 2 blocks west to NORTH 9th STREET.
• Turn left onto 9th STREET and travel south to the stop sign at BROADWAY.
• Turn right on BROADWAY and continue for 2 blocks.

• Take the I-80 EAST  toward DAVENPORT.
• Just before DAVENPORT, take the I-280 EAST/US-6 EAST exit and drive about 10 miles.
• Then take the IL-92 WEST exit.
• At the STOPLIGHTS go straight onto 92nd AVENUE.
• Take 92nd AVENUE for about 3 miles, then turn right on US-67 SOUTH.
• Drive approximately 40 miles on this road until you approach the city of Monmouth.
• Continue straight through the stop light at the junction of US-34 (there will be a McDonalds on the right), this is MAIN STREET.
• Take MAIN STREET into town to the PUBLIC SQUARE (about 10 blocks) and go 3/4 of the way around the square (actually a circle) and head EAST on EAST BROADWAY toward Monmouth College.
• Travel on EAST BROADWAY, the admissions office will be at the corner of BROADWAY and 6th.  Public parking is available in the lot just to the east of the admission building.

• Take I-380 SOUTH toward Iowa City.
• At Iowa City, take the I-80 EAST exit and travel east toward DAVENPORT.
• Just before DAVENPORT, take the I-280 EAST/US-6 EAST exit and drive about 10 miles.
• Then take the IL-92 WEST exit.
• At the STOPLIGHTS go straight onto 92nd AVENUE.
• Take 92nd AVENUE for about 3 miles, then turn right on US-67 SOUTH. 
• Drive approximately 40 miles on this road until you approach the city of Monmouth.

• Travel on EAST BROADWAY for approximately 6 blocks, the admissions office will be at the corner of BROADWAY and 6th.  Public parking is available in the lot just to the east of the admission building.

• Take the I-64 EAST/US-40 EAST ramp toward Illinois. 
• Continue to go straight onto I-55 NORTH toward Chicago.  
• Drive about 125 miles on I-55 NORTH, At LINCOLN take the I-155 NORTH exit and drive on I-155 NORTH for about 30 miles.
• Take the I-74 WEST exit on the left toward PEORIA.
• Drive on I-74 WEST for about 1-1/2 miles.
• Take the I-474 WEST exit.  Drive approximately 13 miles on I-474 WEST.
• Take the I-74 WEST exit on the left toward MOLINE-ROCK ISLAND.  Drive on this interstate for about 40 miles.
• Then take the US-34 WEST (Monmouth) exit at Galesburg.  
• After driving approximately 15 miles on US-34 WEST you will approach a Monmouth College street sign.
• At the first stoplight intersection (baseball-soccer complex on the left), turn left onto 11th STREET.
• Travel on 11th STREET 1/2 mile to EAST EUCLID.

Amtrak has two lines which pass through Galesburg, approximately 20 minutes east of Monmouth. If you choose to travel by rail, the Monmouth College Admission Office will arrange a ride for you from the train station to the campus and back again.

Monmouth is approximately one hour from both the Greater Peoria Regional Airport in Peoria and the Quad Cities Airport in Moline. Southeast Iowa Regional Airport, located 30 minutes away in Burlington, Iowa, offers direct service from St. Louis.

WHAT COLLEGE WAS MEANT TO BE

Founded in 1853, Monmouth College is a nationally-ranked liberal arts college affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA). Located in western Illinois, midway between Chicago and St. Louis, Monmouth has an enrollment of 1,350 students, most of whom live on campus in eleven attractive residence halls and a modern apartment complex.

Monmouth's faculty devotes its full attention to undergraduate teaching. A new general-education based curriculum, designed to better prepare students for the challenges of living and working in the 21st century, was recently adopted.
