Monmouth College’s role is to provide you with information on various national scholarships and to help you plan experiences that will assist you in developing your portfolio. Many of these scholarships require that you prepare well in advance so take note of the campus deadline.

There are two types of national scholarships:

• Institutional Endorsement REQUIRED (cannot apply on own-must go through campus scholarship committee)
   
• Self Nominated (apply directly to foundation)

Regardless of the type of national scholarship you are applying for they all take a great deal of thought and preparation. If you are seriously interested in applying we recommend that you contact the Mellinger Learning Center AT LEAST three months prior to the application deadline.
