From time to time it becomes necessary to
help students find a way to visit campus. We firmly believe that once a
student experiences Monmouth’s campus they are sure to become part of the
MC family. With hectic school
schedules (athletic events, plays, concerts, rehearsals, etc.),
after-school jobs, and parents’ job commitments, it is sometimes difficult
for students and their families to find a convenient time to travel to
campus. Sometimes visiting campus places a financial burden on families.
We want all of our prospective students to be offered the chance to
actually see Monmouth College. We set up bus trips from metropolitan areas
and/or try to bring students to campus with us whenever possible.
When a brings a
prospective student to campus, not only will you be helping that student
get a clear and accurate view of Monmouth, but you can come back and
revisit people and places on campus where you created your cherished
college memories.
After bringing your prospective student
to Monmouth College, the Admission's office will be willing to offer an
orientation period to help that perspective feel comfortable in his/her
new surroundings. Then the prospective student will be given a campus
tour. Prospective students can even stay in one of the residence's
dormitory rooms in order to get more of a feel for what it is like going
to Monmouth College.
If this area interests you, we will
inform you of students in your area who want to visit campus.
