Publishers, editors and reporters were among Lincoln’s most trusted allies, but

power during the Civil War, offering opportunities and pitfalls for the 16th
president. The nation’s most powerful editors were also amongst the nation’s
leading politicians. Learn how Lincoln navigated these larger-than-life
personalities to persuade the public opinion prior to and during the Civil War.
It’s a portrait of Lincoln you might not expect! Presented by Neil Dahlstrom
