Current Monmouth students have begun calling our alumni, parents and friends as part of the Monmouth College Annual Fund Phonathon. We are excited as we launch a new campaign to increase alumni participation in annual giving. Our participation rate has been around 32 percent for several years, and we would like to improve it to 40 percent, which could help us make a big jump in the national rankings of colleges and universities. Even if you can only manage to make a modest gift, your participation will make a difference!

New this year to the Monmouth College Annual Fund program is the option for donors to designate specific programs they would like their gift to support. Choices include the Excellence Fund, academic departments, student activities, scholarships, off-campus programs and athletics. If you or your spouse is associated with a company that has a matching gift program, your gift to Monmouth College could be doubled or tripled.

This year we are asking for more than financial support; we will also ask for updated alumni information. Student callers will be checking the accuracy of such data as e-mail addresses, which will be used to enhance the college’s e-communication abilities. They will also be collecting professional information about alumni, in order to build our career network through the Wackerle Career Center and the WackerleTrack program.
