Ashley Yeast

A year ago, senior center Ashley Yeast averaged 13.7 rebounds per game to lead all women's basketball players in Division III. Fueled by that amazing season, Yeast moved on to breaking MC's career rebounding marks. The first to fall was the women's record of 809, set by Penny Rowan, which Yeast passed in December. Next was Roger Sander's men's mark of 939, which she broke on Feb. 8 at Lawrence. Finally in the last game of her career on Feb. 20, Yeast broke through the 1,000-rebound barrier, finishing with 1,008. She Narrowly missed that mark in terms of career scoring, winding up with 990 career points.
