Grandson "Yosha" adopted from Kazakhastan 9/07 - mastering of English
is astounding! Delighted with his new world which includes a dog and
cat. In the orphanage he has seen only 1 dog and 1 cat in his entire
life.

I have been negligent in sending info on my life. I am still very
active and in good health. I am the Senior Associate in the Presbyterian
Frontier Fellowship that is related to the PCUSA. I just returned two
weeks ago from a two week trip to Ethiopia and Bahrain. In both cases I
was asked to consult on Muslim relations and contextualized witness and
work. Last year I was in Russia Siberia doing the same thing for a
gathering of missionaries and church leaders. I continue to teach and
preach around the US at mission conferences and consultations. All of
this follows our 22 years in Ethiopia as missionaries and now 54 years
being involved with the world Church. I guess I have been in around 60
countries. We have six Children, 22 grandchildren and now five great
grandchildren. Two of our daughters, Caroline and Jane, graduated from
Monmouth and are also involved with Ethiopia as is our son, Chris. Jane
and Chris are involved with Ethiopiareads.com and Caroline works with
me. Jane is our main writer and has taught in Monmouth schools,
janekurtz.com. Caroline usually travels to Ethiopia twice a year and
also preaches and teaches around the US. That, briefly, is the news from
here!
