Hi Guys! It is hard to believe it is time for yet another class to
graduate! Life sure has been busy for my husband, Randy, and I over the
past year. We finished the work on the house we bought to flip in
September or 3 months into my twin pregnancy. We welcomed our identical
daughters, Kelsey and Miranda (Randi) into the world on January 28th,
2008. Kelsey weighed 6 lbs 2 oz. and Miranda was 5 lbs 4 oz. Although
the time leading up to their birth was not fun, they are the best things
that have ever happened to us. Needless to say, life has been nothing
short of crazy since I had them. If you haven't been back to campus in a
while, you probably won't even recognize it. Please keep in touch and
I'll try to do the same!

I have a piece in a show titled, Spun From the Web, that opens this
Friday. It's my first sound installation. A computer program pulls
sentences out of web blogs that start with the string, "I wish you..."
The collected content is then projected upon the gallery goers. The
whole show is good. There is also another show that is opening in the
same space containing work done a digital loom. It is the fist opening
since the school moved the galleries to the second floor. The galleries
are nice. Come on out if your in town. The details are below with the
graphic from the postcard.
Thanks,
Matthew Nelson
