Hello Everyone. The '06-'07 school year
has been a busy and great one so far. I am officially tenure in my
district as of this year and am teaching fifth grade again to a
wonderful set of students. I also received my masters of teaching and
leadership from St. Xavier's University in January of '07. Then I bought
and built a townhouse in Woodstock which I was able to move into before
Christmas. So overall it has been busy, yet a terrific time around here
for me. I hope everything is going well in your life. Go Scot's!!!

Children: Madeline Elizabeth, 2 1/2
years old
Tyson and I are expecting our second child
in May. We are really excited about it. Since our family is growing, we
have started to look for a bigger home.
We going to Germany the beginning of
February for our four-year anniversary.
Madeline is still learning sign and
Spanish. It is amazing how fast they pick up different languages.
Tyson recently changed jobs and is working as a chemist at Conair. He
loves it. In February I started a new job at the
Developmental Service Center. I work with developmentally challenged
children and adults and their families. It is by far the most rewarding
job.
Tyson and I still stay busy traveling
every year for a week or two to Kauai. This year we will be hitting
Germany to see my brother before he goes to Iraq.
I miss Monmouth so much and I can't wait
for homecoming next year.

Children: Mack
James West, born Oct. 21, 2006
Becky and I
brought our first son, Mack James, into the world on October 21, 2006.
He is now 12 weeks old and growing like a weed. He's huge already and
I'm hoping that his rate of growth continues. Got to be big to play on
the line.
Right now Becky is substitute teaching and I am still at Plano High
School, but with a different role. In the fall I started back to grad
school to get my masters in guidance and counseling.
Right now I am the
assistant guidance counselor at PHS and teaching only one class a day.
Next year I will be full time counselor. I am still the head wrestling
coach and am switching from girls to boys head track coach.
Over all things
are going very well. I have fond memories of MC and talk about it often
with my students. I hope all my old friends are doing well.
