Who benefits from the Annual Fund?
- Our students. Tuition and fees cover less than 75 percent of the real
cost of each student’s education. The Monmouth College Annual Fund provides a
vital source of income that bridges the gap between what tuition provides and
the actual cost of running the college.
- Our faculty and staff. Your gifts help pay the salaries and benefits of
employees, enabling Monmouth to attract and retain exceptional faculty and
staff. By maintaining small class sizes and student-faculty ratios, faculty can
engage students in active learning, discussion, field study and research.
- Our alumni. As the alumni participation rate and annual giving increase,
more resources are made available to further improve the quality of a Monmouth
education. This builds Monmouth’s reputation and the value of a Monmouth degree.
The Monmouth College Annual Fund also enables the college to expand
communication and services for alumni, including Monmouth College Magazine,
class reunions, events and receptions around the country, group travel programs,
etc.
