College Illinois!
Is a 529 Prepaid Tuition Program that allows families to pay for tuition
at current rates in order to avoid future tuition inflation. The plan
covers tuition and mandatory fees. Students are responsible for any
housing, meals or any other non tuition related fees incurred. The
College is required to report to College Illinois! the
student’s credit hours as of the end of the first week of each
semester. If a student drops or adds hours after this date,
College Illinois! will not reduce or increase the number of
credit hours available from the student’s College Illinois!
account.
Each College Illinois! semester is equivalent to 15
credit hours. Using additional credit hours during the course of any
semester may reduce the hours available in future years.
Each student has the right to choose how many hours Monmouth College
reports to College Illinois!. For example, if a student is
enrolled in 18 credit hours but wants only 15 credit hours reported to
control the availability of future hours, Monmouth College will report
15 credit hours for the semester.
A $15 processing fee will be deducted from the payment made for the
student’s first semester at Monmouth College.
Upon enrollment, students must notify Monmouth College of their intent
to use College Illinois! benefits.
