Students who have outside scholarships or
loans not already credited to their accounts by the day of registration must have written

The NBS ( Nelnet Business
Solutions) Tuition Payment Plan - formerly FACTS |
To help you meet your educational
expenses, Monmouth College is pleased to offer NBS as a convenient
budget plan. NBS is a tuition management
plan that provides you with a low cost option for budgeting tuition and other educational
expenses.

It is not a loan program; therefore, you
have no debt, there are no interest or finance charges assessed and
there is no credit check. The only cost to budget monthly payments
through NBS is a $35.00 per semester or $50.00 per academic year
non-refundable enrollment fee. The enrollment fee is automatically
deducted within 14 days of the day the agreement is posted to the NBS system.

NBS Tuition Payment Plan
Using NBS is simple. You may enroll online. Information for enrolling
online is provided below. You may budget your tuition and fees one of two ways:
Automatic Bank Payment (ACH)
ACH payments are those payments you have authorized NBS to process directly with your
financial institution. It is simply a bank-to-bank transfer of funds that you have
pre-approved for your expenses at Monmouth College. Payments may be made from either your
checking or savings account. Payments are processed on the 5th or the 20th of each month and
will continue through April of 2009.
Credit Card Option
Many payers have requested the option of charging their monthly tuition
payment to their credit card. This enables you to take advantage of various bonus programs,
like frequent flyer miles, offered by your credit card company. If you elect to use this
option, your monthly payment along with a convenience fee will be automatically charged to
the credit card you designate. The convenience fee is in addition to the
non-fundable enrollment
fee. Payments will be charged on the 5th or the 20th of each month
until the balance is paid in full. If you wish to use this option you
may enroll by registering online through e-Cashier. Credit card
payments are processed by American Card Services, Inc.
Should an ACH or credit card payment be missed, a $25 missed payment
fee will be automatically assessed to your account. You will be notified
by NBS of the missed payment
via mail or email.

Enrolling online is simple, secure and

information and refer to the menu bar at the top for additional answers to
questions you may have.
After you have reviewed all information,

Terms and Conditions and submitted your agreement, you will receive an
immediate email (if your email address was provided). This email will
confirm receipt of your enrollment through NBS e-Cashier.
Please remember, once you have submitted
your NBS agreement online, any down payment or full payment is deducted
immediately. A $2.00 NBS non-refundable enrollment fee will be assessed
for full payment.

Completing the NBS Agreement |
When you enroll online, be sure you have the
following information:
- Your student ID, as assigned by Monmouth College.
- The name, address and email address of the person responsible for making
the payments.
- Account information for the responsible person.
- If paying by automatic bank payments you will need the
bank name, telephone number, account number, and the bank routing number. Most of this
information is located on your check. If enrolling via the paper agreement process, you will
need to attach a voided check.
- If paying by credit card, you will need the credit card
number and expiration date.
1. Complete the budget worksheet. If you have been awarded
financial aid, make sure this has been accounted for by either you or the college.
2. To complete the three part NBS Agreement Form:
Institution Information
Enter student's name, Monmouth College ID number and phone number.
Personal Information
Enter the name, address, and phone numbers for the person responsible for paying the
tuition.
Bank Information
If paying through your checking or savings account, complete the Section 3 part of the three
part agreement form. Remember to include a voided check or savings deposit slip and all bank
information requested. Be sure to indicate checking or savings account.
3. Payment terms will be verified by
Monmouth College. This will be the total amount you wish to budget and
the number of payments. The total of each payment is determined by
dividing the amount to be budgeted through NBS by the number of
payments.
4. Attach a voided check or savings
deposit slip to the NBS Agreement Form at the upper left corner. The
student and the person responsible for paying the tuition must then sign
the agreement form and return the form to Monmouth College Business
Office. Monmouth College will then forward the form to NBS for
processing, and NBS will
confirm your arrangement by mail.
