C Course Plan

Communication-Rich (C) Course Plan

Monmouth College's New Curriculum, passed by the faculty in May 2003, calls for the development of writing-intensive and speaking-intensive courses that will "integrate . . . essential communication skills at many points in a student's education."

The following plan, written in consultation with the CAC Advisory Committee and the Curriculum Committee, intentionally incorporates Communication-Rich (C) Courses into both General Education and the majors.

Details of the C Plan are located below.  Your questions and comments on the plan are encouraged and can be directed to Steve Price, CAC Director.
