Academic Honesty Roundtable

The discussion of academic honesty issues at Monmouth College looked specifically at:
bulletthe campus climate, in terms of how academic dishonesty is handled and perceived;
bulletbenefits of engaging students in an ongoing, classroom-based discussion of academic dishonesty;
bulletand, pedagogical strategies for promoting academic honesty. 

The overriding point of the discussion was that academic honesty is a skill that can be emphasized and developed, often within the context of regular course material.
