Mount Monmouth

Scaling new heights in recreation

Mount Monmouth is not Mt. Everest, but it the closest thing to an adventurous mountain climb.

Mount Monmouth, the rock climbing wall, is located at the Trotter Fitness Complex of The Huff Athletic Center. This rock-climbing wall stands 30 feet and is a great place to experience the challenge and rush of a good climb.

Rock climbing has become a popular sport. Rock climbing walls have brought the sport of climbing to many places and people who might never see a mountain, let alone climb one. New group reaches for the heavens

As the saying goes, “there is no zealot like a convert,” and to say the least, the leaders of The Covenant Group are eager to get the club under way. At the end of last school year, the Monmouth Student Senate approved a new campus organization, The Covenant Group, a Christian faith-based organization. After reviewing the constitution and meeting with the executive board of the club, the Senate gave its approval and made the proposed new club a reality for Monmouth campus life. Read More...

Let the ratings battle begin!

After a summer full of reruns and outlandish new reality shows, network television is back with a load of new hopeful sitcoms and dramas. Some of these shows may become the next hot item, but many of them will fall into obscurity and become cancelled within a number of episodes. With the advent of reality T.V., it is more difficult now than ever for sitcoms and dramas to find a permanent home on any particular network.
