Corrinne C.M. Lim-Kessler, assistant professor of psychology, was welcomed into MC's faculty earlier this year.
Currently, Lim-Kessler teaches Introduction to Psychology and Sensation and Perception.
She hopes to improve her teaching skills as the years go by and wants to be challenged.
Her favorite class to teach is Introduction to Psychology, because she loves meeting the new students and seeing all of their diverse backgrounds.
She was thrilled when she discovered how all of her co-workers are concerned and interested in the lives of their students
While at MC, Lim-Kessler hopes to gain friendships through her students and help them through their college life and beyond.
Lim-Kessler graduated from Purdue University located in West Lafayette, IN and received her Bachelor's degree in psycho biology and with a concentration in vision research.

Recently added to the long list of new faculty members at Monmouth College is Haryanto, assistant professor and director of International Business.
Being in Monmouth for only a short time, he commented, “I like my colleagues and everyone seems very friendly.”
Haryanto came to Monmouth College from the University of Illinois (U of I) where he taught for three years.
While at the U of I, Haryanto mainly taught undergraduate students.
“In a sense, the sizes of the classes were similar to Monmouth, and the profiles of the students were mainly traditional students. I am used to teaching upper classman students,” he stated.
While in his third year at the U of I, Haryanto created his own syllabus for a research class in International Business.
After he finished his syllabus, Haryanto concluded, “The size of the classes increased from 20 to about 70 students. I wanted to create a syllabus that was easier for the students and attracted more interest.”
In his spare time, he travels all over the world and is a partial owner of a Hanesa Consulting Company in Indonesia, which was founded in 1997.
Haryanto travels to Indo-nesia twice a year to check how his company is progressing.
As for his education, he received his bachelor’s degree at the Bachelor of Engineering Institute of Textile Technology in Bandung, Indonesia and it was at The State University of New York at Buffalo where he received his master’s degree in business administration.
Currently, Haryanto expects to complete his Ph.D. in business administration in Dec-ember of 2005 at the U of I.
