Basketball vs. Lake Forest

The men and women’s basketball teams compete in their final home game of the year against Lake Forest on Feb. 11. The men look to end their season with their heads held high, especially the five seniors who will play their last game at Glennie Gymnasium: Tucker Blaser, Chris Hebeler, Anthony Beaird, Jim Dibble, and Matt Hammer. The men hope to put another victory in the win column and move themselves up out of last place in the Midwest Conference. The women also look to win the last three games of the season (one out of the way) to finish at an even .500, which hasn’t happened since the mid 90s. The women will leave it all out on the floor in hopes to give their two seniors the season they have longed for in their four years here. Courtney Scherrer and Lisa Curry will play their final game on Monmouth’s floor and hope to earn a final home court victory.
