Scots run over the competition at Depauw

Look to continue at Scots Invite

The Monmouth College men’s and women’s track and field teams had an impressive day at the Tiger Track Invitational at DePauw University on Feb. 4. The Scots know they are a strong team and are going to be a tough team to beat this year, and they had a chance to put their talent and skills to the test as they competed against some very tough NAIA and DII schools.

For the men, it was just another victory under their belt. Monmouth blew away most of the competition and ended up beating the runner up squad from The University of Indianapolis by nearly 18 points. Who are they trying to impress?

NBA players seemingly have it all, money, cars, endorsements, but the one thing they don’t have is the control to pick out what they want to wear before games. In a memo that was sent out to teams before Nov. 1, the NBA declared there would be a league wide dress code.

The dress code is basically as follows, when the players arrive to games they must be dressed in professional attire. Also, if a player isn't playing in a game but is still there watching from the bench, they must dress the same way. Read More...

America witnessed its 40th Super Bowl Sunday Feb. 5 as the Steelers and Seahawks fought for the right to be National Football League Champion. When it was all said and done, the Steelers marched away with 21-10 victory and the Lombardi Trophy.
