Erin Jole
Jole preformed well in her final year as part of Monmouth College swim team.
Jole has been a team leader ever since the swim team was brought back to the school.
Her performance this year has been solid. Her presence alone has brought respect to a young and inexperienced team.
“I just want to thank all my friends and family that have been there for me throughout the years. My family being at my last swim meet really meant a lot to me. I am going to miss that next year.”
Brian Kura
Kura, another senior, worked hard this year at being a true leader and consistant competitor for the young men’s team.
Kura took part in the new tradition for the men’s team to shave their heads before the Midwest Conference Meet.
Each guy on the team sacrificed their hair as they all showed up hairless to the biggest meet of the year.
Kura’s leaderhsip and personality will be missed next year.
Andrew Wilson
Wilson was a standout for the MC swim team as he showed up big time in the Midwest Conference Meet.
In his first Midwest Conference Meet in his young career, Wilson set nine MC records.
The big freshman dominated the competiton on his was to his first real break out meet.
Wilson is the bright light at the end of the tunnel for the Scots swim team as they have endured a rocky first two yearsoof existance.
Dan Campione
After team leader Eric Hoffer went down with injury Campione stepped up quickly as MC’s strongest swimmer.
A standout from last year’s squad along with Wilson Campione helped carry the men to a fifth place finish at the MWC.
After seeing Wilson break record after record Campione jumped up and took one off of Wilson’s resume.
Campione, along with Wilson and Hoffer, have the MC men looking into a bright future and expontial improvement for the 2007 season.
