Softball heating up

The Monmouth College women’s softball team has started off their season just one game off .500 at 4-5. The women started their season over spring break in Fort Myers, FL and had their first home opener against MacMurray College on March 15 followed by another home game against Wartburg College on March 18.

The Scots came back from their spring break trip with a record of 2-4. The Scots played their first game of the season against Rochester Institute of Technology and came away with a season opening win 3-1. The brackets are filled out, the first and the second round games have been played. Now it is getting down to crunch time, who will be crowned college basketball's national champion?

MWC Champions...AGAIN!!!

While the rest of us were enjoying our spring break, wherever we were, the Monmouth College track team was on it’s way to sweeping its fifth straight Midwest Conference Title.

Friday, March 3 and Saturday, March 4 the Scots’ track teams competed in the two day long Midwest Conference Championships. The weekend was highlighted with MC individual victories 18 in all, out of 36 events, as well as victories in all five relays. Read More...

MC 11-5 after slow start

The Monmouth College Fighting Scots tennis team had two strong team wins this past Saturday by defeating St. Ambrose University and Cornell College. Baseball swings for the fences

The Fighting Scots played their first home game, unexpectedly, as MacMurray College was forced to travel north from Jacksonville due to weather conditions and play at Glasgow Field on Wednesday March 15. Glasgow Field was in great condition and the weather, while brisk did not hinder the Fighting Scots' efforts to win their first game on home turf. Read More...
