March Madness: Number one seed not present in Final Four
To say this is “March Madness” is an understatement. Millions of people have been glued to their television sets every weekend since St. Patrick’s Day hoping that the teams they have picked to win do, and hope the person watching the same game next to them is cringing as their bracket falls apart.
Many watched the Sweet 16 with all their teams still intact on Thursday March 23 and 24 only to see top seeds fall, last minute comebacks, and overtime victories. Only one game in the both days was a blowout while the rest went right down the wire, in which could possibly be one of the most thrilling and exciting tournaments in recent history. Men tee-off at Prairie Fire Classic
Monmouth College men’s golf team traveled to the Soangetaha Country Club in Galesburg, IL to compete in the Knox College Prairie Fire Classic. MC’s golfers split into two squads in the 10 team tournament. The Classic took place over two days starting Friday March 24 and ending Saturday March 25. Read More...

The Monmouth College men’s tennis team hit the road to Jacksonville, IL this past weekend to play Illinois College and St. Norbert. These were the team’s first matches of conference play. MC had a 7-0 team win verse IC and defeated St. Norbert 4-3. Read More...
