New building rises from the ashes

There may be some relief in sight for the housing crunch of the last few years, as the college has undertaken its long-range goal to expand the student population to 1,500.

In the last two years, new students have been placed in unconventional housing at the beginning of the fall semester, such as the lounge of a residence hall or in unoccupied rooms at the fraternity complex, because there have not been enough beds in the regular rooms to house every student.
