All information taken from a press release provided by MTV and the National Wildlife Federation.
MTV recenlty announced the launch of its Break the Addiction competion, launched simultaneously with the Campus Climate Challenge.
“The Campus Climate Challenge leverages the power of young people to organize on high school and college campuses across Canada and the U.S. to win 100 percent Clean Energy policies at their schools. The Challenge is growing into a generation-wide movement to stop global warming by reducing the pollution from high schools and colleges down to zero, and leading our society to a clean energy future,” the press release said.
Schools will be rewarded for taking several actions, including garnering media coverage of campus conservation activities, achieving a 100 percent clean energy policy, passing strong policies to reduce global warming pollution and educating the student body about global warming and solutions to this problem.
