I’m too sexy for this earth
“The fate of the world is in your hands…and your pants.” Students entering the Dahl Chapel and Auditorium on the night of Sept. 26 were amused to find that inventive slogan imprinted on dozens of brightly colored T-shirts, advertising the highly anticipated “Sex and the Environment” workshop, which attempted to demonstrate the connection between our sexual activity and the preservation of our earth.
As a follow-up to last week’s screening of the acclaimed documentary, “The Education of Shelby Knox,” Knox herself appeared on stage, recounting the events of her many attempts to bring proper sex education to her community. Knox was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas, dubbed the second most conservative city in America, where she received a highly religious upbringing. “I attended church on Sundays and Wednesdays.
