MC-TV Station: Lights...Camera...ACTION!!!

For the first time in school history, Monmouth College has a live news show called MC-TV. The live news show airs on channel 15 on Wednesdays at noon, and it is replayed later Wednesday nights at 7 p.m.

MC-TV is organized by Chris Goble, lecturer in communication and theater arts. Junior Heather Prater is the news producer for MC-TV, and she said a lot of things have changed since last year.

“We’re a weekly show, and last year was a monthly show,” Prater of St. Charles said. “It’s improved quite a lot; we have a lot of creative people and Chris Goble is a great professor to work with.”  Read More...

Classics Corner

In this (hopefully) weekly column, I will attempt to introduce you, my dear readers, to some of the books which have had an impact on my life as a reader. I am titling this “Classics Corner” because, as a result of my course of study and lines of interest, I have mostly read classical literature. However, I will occasionally throw in something contemporary just to mix things up a bit. Read More...
