What is your home town?

Long Point, Ill. – It’s in the middle of nowhere.

What is your major?

Math.

What organizations are you involved with on campus?

I am in Alpha Xi Delta, obviously, Mortar Board and Kappa Delta Pi.

Do you have a favorite professor or department?

My two favorite professors would be Dr. Eary and Dr. Dwyer.

I heard you’re getting certified to teach secondary Ed. Is there an ideal grade you’d like to teach?

I would like to teach upper level mathematics, preferably calculus.

Do you have any plans for after graduation?

The summer after I graduate, I will be working as a dean and program director for East Bay Camp in Hudson. In the fall, I will be going to grad school at Illinois State University to get a Master’s in math. I eventually want to get a Ph.D. and teach at the college level.

If you could be in the ultimate math challenge with any student in the department, who would it be?

I’d take down Dustin Fitzpatrick. I love that kid. Actually, I really want to take down Paul Rogers, but he’s not in the math department.

Do you have a favorite MC moment?

I would say anything with Alpha Xi Delta in general.
