Women’s basketball stumbles in MWC play  

Heartbreak and triumph has marked the Monmouth College women’s basketball team all year. After two straight tough home losses to Lawrence and Carroll, MC bounced back against Knox on Wednesday, Feb. 7.

The Fighting Scots took it to Knox in every aspect of the game. Junior Ashley Yeast led the way for the Scots with her 13 points and 21 rebounds. Yeast is currently the nation’s leading rebounder with 286. Yeast’s 21 rebounds are a Monmouth College record which had stood at 20 since 1998.   Read More...

Perry brings intramural spirit to Monmouth 

 Before this academic year, Monmouth College hired George Perry to serve as its head soccer coach. Many students do not realize, however, that Perry was also hired to serve as the director of intramurals at Monmouth and he is trying to put the intramural program on the map.    Read More...

As the Monmouth College men’s basketball team reaches the end of their season, the post season is in the distance but the men still have their pride. Monmouth track team vaults over competition

The women’s track team participated in the Titan Open at Illinois Wesleyan University on Saturday, Feb. 3. In the open, the Scots placed fifth out of the 12 competing teams.

The distance medley relay “A” team placed first in a time of 13:15.41. This was a big win for the team at the end of the open.    Read More...
