Celebrating the title

The men’s swim team had plenty to boast about after the MWC Championships. Above, the 200-yard medley relay team, comprised of (left to right) freshman Jonathan Peterson, juniors Dan Campione and Kurt Niemeier and freshman John Kaiser, claimed second in the Midwest Conference.

The “WOW” moment

The biggest win for the women’s swim team was in the 200-yard medley relay team, who finished second. (Left to right) The relay team consisted of junior Megan Wentzlaff, freshman Anne Lane, sophomore Sarah Christensen and freshman Laura Miller. The foursome’s win gave the whole squad momentum after the first day in the pool.

The swim team brought along their own mascot to motivate themselves. This air-filled outfit was a staple at every Fighting Scot swim event. The Big Scotsman watched his team swim to success at the 2007 Midwest Conference championships.
