Five on five basketball concludes

“The Studs,” led by Kyle Wantland, proved their supremacy against runner-up, “Sweaty Socks.” Wantland’s squad rained down three pointers to open a large lead. They ended up walking away with an easy blow out win. Towards the end of the game, the “Sweaty Socks” neared their boiling point as they could not buy a basket. Their misery and poor shooting night ended with a 62-30 loss.

Director of intramurals George Perry was present to oversee the final and commented, “The only change we are looking to make next year is to add a shot clock; at least in the playoffs.” The five on five intramural basketball league was a big hit this winter and there was a fairly large crowd present at the leagues finally. “The Studs” finished with the leagues’ only perfect record at, 8-0.
