Monmouth track running strong at end of season

The Fighting Scots’ men’s and women’s track team put on a remarkable performance at the Fred Wilt Memorial Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 24. Both the men and the women ran away with first place.

Senior Dante Daniels won the 200 meter dash with a time of 22.48 seconds. Then, he performed well in the 55 meter dash placing second. The Reshcke brothers, senior Josh and sophomore Luke, each also placed well in their event. Josh placed first in the 400 meter run with his 50.31 performance.  The Monmouth College athletic department is reviving the intramural program, headed up by George Perry, men’s soccer coach.

Five on five basketball concludes

The men’s basketball team made it to a .500 overall record, finishing 11-11. In the Midwest Conference, however, the Scots were just 7-9. The team did finish the season on a high note, winning three of five games in the final month of the season.  Read More...
