What is your home town?

Warsaw, Poland

What are you majoring in?

I have three majors – computer science, international business, and economics.

Why did you come to MC?

For my senior year of high school I did an exchange program and went for a year to Galesburg High School. I had my ACT scores sent to Monmouth and was accepted, but could not afford it, so I went to the Polish Japanese Institute of Information Technology for a year. After I found a way to pay for MC, I have been here ever since.

What do you plan to do after graduation?

I will go back to Poland and probably work at a bank, specifically Citibank, because I have family who also works there. I also want to go to the Warsaw School of Economics (WSE) and get a master’s in economics. Going to WSE is complicated, though, because I will have to petition the school to accept a United States diploma. I will have to go in front of a committee and present the curriculum I had at Monmouth, and if they accept it, I will receive an honorary degree from their school, and be eligible for their master’s program.

Do you have a favorite professor or department?

I like most of the professors in the political economy and commerce department.

Do you think you’ll stay in Poland the rest of your life?

I don’t envision myself living in Poland all my life, but I do want to go back to see my brother Michal. He’s a senior in high school; he’s my buddy. I like to leave myself open to opportunity, and if it means traveling around the world, then I am up for that.
