Reading in Reading: 'Reading' between the lines on cost of trip

This past summer, 17 Monmouth College students attended the "Reading in Reading" program, a three-week study abroad session at the University of Reading in England. Though the program, a three credit academic course in children’s literature which ran from May 21 through June 11, was intended to broaden the horizons of its attendees and make them more aware of the world’s cultural diversity, a few of the students involved have recently addressed anxieties regarding the collective costs of the entire trip.   Read More...

As the first full week of classes draws to an end, students are adapting to the new surroundings of Monmouth College. The campus went through a metamorphosis over the summer. Students watched the new residence hall get built from the foundation up, but even more has changed.   Read More...

'Fourthmeal' for MC

Taco Bell is coming to Monmouth, thanks to a deal handled by Hennenfent Realty, which sold property along the US 67-US 34 corridor. The property changed from the hands of the current owners to Parochetti Enterprises of the Quad Cities, which is a franchisee of Taco Bell.
