The women's
volleyball team has started well with a 7-2 record

The Monmouth College volleyball team had
started off the season with a 6-2 record. Most recently on the Scots
performed well at the UW-Platteville Tournament on Friday and
Saturday Sept. 7-8. At the event on Friday, MC won both of
their matches in dominating fashion. In the opening battle the Scots
unseated Edgewood by scores of 30-21, 30-25 and 30-18.

Monmouth men's soccer kicks off the season on the right foot
Although the Fighting Scots’ men soccer team featured a starting lineup that contained three players who were not on the roster last year, the squad played as though they were all seniors in route to defeating Eureka College 4-0 in front of a nice crowd in Monmouth last Saturday. Read More...

team recovers in second game

The Monmouth College football team opened up their Midwest Conference schedule with a bang against Lawrence University on Saturday, Sept. 8. The Scots trounced the Vikings 44-7.
Leading the way for Monmouth was freshman-starting quarterback Alex Tanney, who completed 24 of his 31 passes for 306 yards and three touchdowns. Tanney’s favorite target was junior running back Bobby Gibbs, who caught 10 passes for 121 yards. Read More...
