To finish out my year as MC’s movie review/previewer, I have decided to leave you on a more personal note. Rather than diving into a typical review, it seemed only fitting that I leave you with something a little more substantial and long-lasting.

As a compulsive list-maker, I have plenty film-related lists I could leave you with.  I could recommend to you the top films of any year, whatever genre, theme or running time you’re looking for. Want the best comedies of 2005? I could deliver. The best horror films (or more likely film) of 1997? Not a problem.

However, to keep you from having to mull over which film to watch in the near future, and to leave you with a sampling of my taste in films in anticipation of next year’s reviews (I know you will all muse over these lists this summer), I have decided to present to you, for the first time in one place, my top ten lists for every year so far this decade in hopes that you may find top ten lists even one-tenth as interesting as I do.

And more importantly, I have provided myself with yet another opportunity to retool my lists. And at this time of year, ah, what sweet therapy.
