Chemistry students have gone on to jobs in high school teaching and to jobs at Abbott
Laboratories, Amoco Research, Daily Analytical Labs, Dow Chemicals, Monsanto Chemicals, the
U.S. EPA Laboratories in Washington, D.C., Upjohn Laboratories, U.S. Industrial Chemicals, and
the USDA Laboratories in Peoria, Illinois.
Graduate
School Opportunities
Chemistry graduates have recently enrolled in graduate school at Columbia University,
Purdue University, the University of Illinois, the University of Iowa, the University of
Oklahoma, the University of South Dakota and Western Illinois University. They have also gone
to medical or dental school at Chicago Medical School, Medical College of Wisconsin,
University of Colorado, University of Illinois, New Mexico University and Northern Illinois
University.
