Dear Faculty and Staff:

Leaving college is a process. The decision to go home doesn’t happen overnight. I would like to work with each of you to see if we can more effectively arrest this process. The earlier we can be aware a student is having difficulty, the better chance we have to correct any problems and get that student on a success track. Our freshmen and sophomores are particularly vulnerable to the stresses and strains of college life. Close attention to the circumstances of those students would be most helpful in lowering our attrition rate and giving more students the opportunity to earn their undergraduate degree. Below you will find a list of early warning signs that may indicate something is amiss in a student’s experience. If you become aware of a student who is exhibiting any of these signs, please indicate your concern below and submit the form to the Office of Student  Affairs.  If you would prefer to call (ext. 2114), please feel free to do so. As always, thank you for your continued interest in our students.
