Phi Delta Theta, which previously existed at Monmouth from 1871 to 1884, became MC’s fourth active fraternity. The Illinois Gamma chapter was officially re-colonized in March and 36 charter members – including three students who graduated in May – were initiated in November. A chartering ceremony was held the following day.
