JOB FAIR INTRODUCES MC STUDENTS TO
AREA BUSINESSES

In an effort to help its students meet prospective employers
in the local area, Monmouth College’s financial aid office and its Wackerle Career and
Leadership Center are co-sponsoring a community employment fair. The event will be held in
conjunction with the Monmouth College Involvement Fair on Aug. 28 from 2-4 p.m. on the
college’s Dunlap Terrace. The rainsite is Stockdale Center.
Businesses with existing or anticipated job openings that can
be filled by Monmouth College students can register for the free fair by e-mailing wackerle@monm.edu
or by calling 309-457-2115 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Registration is required, and the
deadline is Aug. 23.
"This fair is a quick, efficient and fun opportunity for
local employers to match up with potential employees," said Mindy Damewood, director of the
Wackerle Center.
