CHOIRS TO PERFORM IN FALL CHORAL CONCERTS

Monmouth College will host a pair of vocal concerts Oct. 18 and
Oct. 20 at 7:30 p.m. in the college Auditorium. Both events are free and open to the public.
Performing Oct. 18 will be the Chamber Choir and the Concert
Choir, who will present the annual Fall Choral Concert. Selections will include “Praise the
Lord” by Handel and “The Ash Grove” and “Simple Gifts,” arranged by Schram.
The Chorale and the Monmouth Singers will be featured Oct. 20 in
the annual Homecoming Concert. The Monmouth Singers will perform familiar folk tunes such as
“Irish Lullaby” and “Bobby Shaftoe.” Following their performance, the Chorale will take the
stage and sing such selections as “Ezekiel Saw the Wheel” and two movements of “Misa Criola”
by Ariel Ramirez.
All four groups are under the direction of assistant professor
of music Perry White.
