MONMOUTH COLLEGE INTERCULTURAL EVENTS

Two entertainment events sponsored by the Monmouth College
Office of Intercultural Life will take place in the next few days.
The first occurs Saturday, as the Monmouth Cultural Festival
will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Glennie Gymnasium. The event is free and open to the
public.
"The event will open right at 11 a.m. with a stunning
performance by Middle Eastern dancers," said associate dean of students Mohsin Masood. "The
food, which is free and prepared by our own international students, will be served starting at
noon, and there will be many other performances from diverse cultures throughout the event.
"We invite the campus and community to come and discover the
traditions and cuisines from around the world as Monmouth College hosts this grand festival,"
Masood concluded.
On Monday at 7 p.m., there will be an
intercultural jazz band performance in The Underground Cafe in Grier Hall.
It is also free and open to the public.
