Three MC Students Earn Eta Sigma Phi Membership

Monmouth College's Gamma Omicron chapter of Eta Sigma Phi, the national
Classics honors society, recently inducted three new members - Christina Bennett, a senior
from Johnsburg; Barb Foster, a junior from Galesburg; and Rebecca Simmons, a sophomore from
St. Louis.
Membership in Eta Sigma Phi is based upon excellent work in the study
of Latin or ancient Greek. Founded at Monmouth in 1856, the Gamma Omicron chapter is advised
by Classics professor Tom Sienkewicz.
