MC's McKeown Named as National Consultant
Release Date: March 7, 2002
Tracy McKeown, a Monmouth College senior from Alexis, Ill., was
recently hired by the national Pi Beta Phi women’s fraternity to serve as a traveling
consultant. A business and public relations major, McKeown is the third Monmouth student
selected as a national consultant by Pi Beta Phi, following Heather Klaes and Mariah Sexton,
who were named to the post in 2000 and 2001, respectively.
“There are 132 chapters worldwide, and for Monmouth to have
consultants selected three consecutive years is quite an honor,” said vice president for
admission Marybeth Kemp. “It speaks volumes about the quality of students we are producing at
Monmouth.”
Founded at Monmouth College in 1867, Pi Beta Phi was the first
national fraternity for women.
