DR. PERRY WHITE FEATURED ON WMEC-TV

Perry White, director of choral
activities at Monmouth College, will be the featured guest on the public television program
“Connections,” Feb. 2 and 3 on WMEC-TV, Macomb.
The program will air at 4 p.m. Saturday and
be repeated at 11 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Monmouth viewers can watch the interview on
cable channel 9.
White, who is interviewed by host Kelly
Cravens, will discuss the Monmouth College choral program, the Feb. 28 tribute to Gracie
Peterson at the Orpheum Theatre and this spring’s Chorale tour. He will also talk about recent
campus improvements.
White, who chairs the music department,
joined the Monmouth College faculty in 1998. He currently directs the Monmouth Chorale, the
Concert Choir and the Chamber Choir. He holds a doctorate in music from the University of
Oklahoma.
