Alpha Lambda Delta inducts new members

MONMOUTH, Ill. — The national honor society, Alpha Lambda Delta,
recently inducted 43 Monmouth College students into the college’s chapter.
Founded in 1924, Alpha Lambda Delta is a first-year honor society open to
full-time students who have excelled academically in their first year of
college.
Eligible students must be pursuing a bachelor’s
degree and have achieved a minimum grade-point-average of 3.5 on a 4.0
scale based on the first semester or first full year of college.
Established at Monmouth in 1956, the honor society encourages students to
excel academically, achieve a high standard of learning and to recognize
and develop meaningful goals in society.

Local students inducted included: Jackie Angelotti,
Galesburg; Ashley Clegg, Little York; Crystal Corzatt, Stronghurst; Andrea
Emery, Knoxville; Cassandra Mefford; Jennifer Palmer, Knoxville; Kayla
Witherell, Galesburg.
