MC’s Haq will lead discussion on Islam at next
Great Decisions

MONMOUTH, Ill. — Farhat Haq, professor of
political science at Monmouth College, will be the discussion leader for
the next Great Decisions program, “Diversity in Islam,” on Feb. 18 at 7:30
p.m. in the Tartan Room in the college’s Stockdale Center.
The public is invited to participate in the free
series, which is sponsored by the Foreign Policy Association, a
non-partisan, non-governmental association that works to increase
Americans’ understanding of significant foreign policy issues.
Haq, who chairs MC’s department of political
science, will preface the program with a 30-minute overview, which will be
followed by one hour of group discussion. The program will be the fifth in
the eight-week series, which concludes March 17. For more information,
