Latin America is next Great Decisions topic at MC

MONMOUTH, Ill. — Monmouth College faculty members
Susan Holm and Shigeko Mato will be the discussion leaders for the next
Great Decisions program, “Overview of Latin America,” on Feb. 25 at 7:30
p.m. in the Tartan Room in the college’s Stockdale Center.
The public is invited to participate in the free
series, which is sponsored by the Foreign Policy Association, a
non-partisan, non-governmental association that works to increase
Americans’ understanding of significant foreign policy issues.
Holm, who chairs MC’s department of modern foreign
languages, and Mato, an assistant professor in that department, will
preface the program with a 30-minute overview, which will be followed by
one hour of group discussion. The program will be the sixth in the
eight-week series, which concludes March 17. For more information, contact
