MONMOUTH, Ill. — Michelle Merritt-Gilbert, a 1989 graduate of Monmouth College, has returned to her alma mater as the assistant dean of students.

She previously held that position at Monmouth from 1998-2000. In the interim, she was a program manager for 3Com Corporation in Chicago.

Merritt-Gilbert, who holds a master’s degree in higher education administration from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse, is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, the Order of Omega and the American College Personnel Association. She previously served as editor of the latter organization’s quarterly newsletter, ACPA Developments.

Merritt-Gilbert lives in Monmouth with her husband, Larry, and son, Liam.
