Release Date: February 15, 2005
MONMOUTH, Ill. – Area high school students searching for a college
will have a chance to gain a first-hand look at Monmouth College on
Feb. 21 as the college’s
admission office hosts their annual Presidents Day Open House.
Beginning at 10 a.m., the open house will feature many different
opportunities for students and their parents to gain insight into
life at Monmouth College. In the morning, students will have the
opportunity to attend an academic fair where they can meet with a
professor from their planned major or speak with faculty from other
departments.
During a brunch in the Main Dining Room, those students interested
in athletics will have the opportunity to visit with coaches.
Following brunch will be an involvement fair, where many of the
college’s 60-plus organizations and clubs will be present to talk to
students and answer any questions they may have. From there,
students will embark on a tour of the campus, attend an admission
and financial aid presentation in the Dahl Chapel and Auditorium and
have the opportunity to interact with faculty and students during a
question and answer session.
